Fronius was founded in 1945 and is headquartered in Pettenbach, Austria (Upper Austria). It is a globally renowned Austrian multinational company specializing in welding technology, photovoltaic solar solutions, and battery charging systems. Fronius began its business in China in 1992. In 2011, it officially entered China and established a subsidiary. In 2018, it was renamed Fronius Intelligent Equipment (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and relocated to the Shanghai Robot Industrial Park. Continuously expanding its investment in China, Fronius has achieved comprehensive sales development by setting up service teams and subsequently establishing branch companies across East, North, Central, West, and South China, providing welding and charging solutions to the Chinese market.
